Motee Peer Tutor Cancellation Policy

Tutors

    Motee tutors are expected to be on time to every scheduled tutoring appointment AND limit your time to the scheduled amount.

  • If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
  • If you cancel your appointment, you will not receive payment for that appointment.
  • If you do not show up for your appointment without canceling, your tutee may request a refund and you will not receive payment.

Tutees

    Motee tutees are expected to be on time to any scheduled tutoring appointment AND limit your time to the amount of time that you paid for. If you need to add more time, you can initiate a new tutor request and pay for additional time.

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to receive a refund.
  • If you cancel less that 24 hours before your appointment, you will not receive any refund.
  • If you fail to show up for your appointment without a 24 hour advance cancellation, you will not receive a refund.
  • If your tutor fails to show up for your appointment and has not canceled 24 hours in advance, you may request a refund below.
  • If you cancel a Tutoring session you will not receive payment for that session. If you do not attend a scheduled session, your Tutee (student) may request a refund and you will not receive payment. If your Tutee (student) cancels an appointment 24 hours in advance, you will not receive payment for that session. If your Tutee (student) cancels less than 24 hours ahead or does not attend, you will receive full payment.
  • As a Tutee, you may request a refund if your Tutor does not attend a scheduled session. You must request a refund less that 24 hours after the scheduled session time has passed.
